I’ve heard all of these and so many different ways more times than I can count. And THIS is this is the reason I created this photography experience for dancers.

On Camera Confidence for Dancers is a 2-day training session designed to teach you all the skills you need to be more confidence and look like the dancer that you are on camera.

❋ Guided posing and self confidence workshop

You’ll learn how to look and feel confident when shooting. A professional model and posing coach will be there to lead you through the motions of your body and facial expressions to get to a zone of comfort.

❋ Studio test shooting

You’ll be able to express yourself directly in a professional photo studio, to help you feel less awkward when you are the focus in the camera.

❋ Makeup guidance

A professional makeup artist will teach you how to enhance your natural look through simple tactics. This will be directed both to men and women to help them prepare before any shoot or your next performance.

❋ A supportive space

This event prioritizes comfort, safety, and respect, so you can show up as you are and fully engage in the process.

❋ Professional guided photoshoot

Sunday will focus on using everything that you’ve learned and applying it in reality. Each participant will get a 30 minute outdoor* photo-session in an iconic Parisian location.

The Team

Andrew Shellard

Andrew has built his career around creating experiences for dancers that bring the best version of themselves out during a photoshoot. His goal is to produce images that make an impact on the dancer and the dance world as a whole. By designing this in-person experience to teach the art of being in front of a camera, dancers will be able to achieve their photoshoot goals and carry the skills forward to shoots in the future.

Marjorie Fievez

Based in Paris, Marjorie is a professional model and a dancer. She is a modeling coach who users her expertise and experience to support others when they are the focus of a camera. As a dancer, she thoroughly understands the nuance of movement and will bring that knowledge to her coaching sessions during the weekend.

Clemence Ramirez

Clemence is a well-known make-up artist and costume designer in the West Coast Swing industry. She is the go-to make-up artist at The Open Swing Dance Championships and serves as the primary artist for some of the top couples in the industry, such as Thibault and Nicole Ramirez. As a professional, she excels in making her clients look incredible with a very simple and natural style. She will be teaching this artistry during the weekend to prepare for photoshoots.

Day Two

LET’S SHOOT

Let’s create unique pictures together in an iconic Parisien location. You will be guided by the posing coach and the photographer to create unique and stunning images of yourself. The goal is for you to feel amazing after this mini session.

30 mini sessions go fast, come prepared and chose your slot ! This is an individual shoot which included 5 premium edited photos.

How It Works

  • Choose between 2 options: Full Experience (mini shoot included), Workshop Experience (only Saturday).

  • Sign up and pay all required fees to reserve your spot. A 150€ non refundable deposit is required (if you can’t make it, you can pass it on to someone else.)

  • After booking, we'll send you a Welcome Packet with everything you need to know, detailed schedules, packing list recommendations, add-ons to consider, and more.

  • We'd recommend booking your transportation to and from the event as soon as possible, to ensure you can arrive without any complications or delays.

  • Now all that's left to do is pack your bags and get excited for this new experience.
